Why Private Yoga Sessions?
After years of teaching the popularized, generic yoga classes we have come to know in the west, I began to feel like something was missing. I had a longing to share yoga in terms of a path, a practice, and a study. I wanted to offer more meaningful connections and experiences according to the uniqueness of individual needs and bodies. Because relationships matter and experience is everything. I wanted to reveal how when implemented by intelligent design, that the practice of yoga is so much more than a mere hobby or exercise. Rather, through discipline and devotion we come to find that yoga is medicine...yoga is therapy. Yoga is a means to align body, heart, and mind that we might experience our innate and untapped potentiality.
Private yoga sessions are a return to how yoga was intended to be shared thousands of years ago. The teacher serves as a spiritual friend and guide. The relationship between the two is a collaborative design. Practices are cultivated and fine-tuned according to each student's individual needs in accordance with their physical, mental, and emotional readiness. Customized yoga practices invite students to explore yoga's vast realms of potentiality by which strength, stamina, and flexibility are mere byproducts of the greater gifts we receive of wisdom, understanding, clarity, calm, and peace.

Each ninety-minute session explores the trinity of body, heart, and mind—integrating an Ayurvedic approach to mindfulness, nutrition, and well-being through the systematic application of meditation, movement, and breathing.

Forgotten Coast Ashtanga
Forgotten Coast Ashtanga is a special branch of ANANTA YOGA specifically for students wishing to learn the traditional method of Ashtanga yoga. While Ashtanga is a practice that welcomes all ages and abilities, there are no shortcuts in this lineage. Ashtanga is a serious practice and study that requires time, energy, and commitment. While richly rewarding, this method is equally nuanced and challenging.
Private sessions for Ashtanga yoga are only offered to students who practice with me weekly 1-3x per week under package pricing.
Students participating in Forgotten Coast Ashtanga also have the additional support of our own private virtual community of practitioners from across the country, as well as a free weekly group practice to further foster our sense of connection and community known as sangha.
